What is an Interior Stylist?

For me, being an interior stylist is taking a space – a blank room or something you’ve already started on – and bringing it to life. Every room and space needs to have its own identity, its own personality. Being an interior stylist is a lot like being a fashion stylist – I take what my client has and add depth, warmth, layers, colors and light to it. It can be hard for people to see the potential of a room – it may have great bones but without the right furnishing and decor, it is still just a room. As an interior stylist, I take the design and function of an already built space, and make it beautiful and welcoming for everyone to enjoy.
